Position Summary

The Foreman provides leadership, motivation, and technical guidance for field operations. You will direct multiple crews, oversee high-quality low-voltage and holiday lighting installations, and handle complex service calls. The ideal candidate sets the standard for the team through punctuality, a positive attitude, and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Project Management
  • Interpret sitemaps to lay out low-voltage and holiday installations accurately.
  • Assign tasks to technicians in a systematic manner and manage field time effectively.
  • Manage multiple field crews - ensure efficient operations and labor assignments. 
  • Mentor and train new technicians to maintain the OLP standard of quality.
  • Communicate effectively with management, field personnel, and customers.
Administrative Duties & Fleet Oversight
  • Maintain precise records in the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, ServiceMinder, including appointment notes, material usage, labor estimates, editing invoices, and customer inventory.
  • Oversee vehicle inventory levels, manage racking organization, and ensure technicians complete inventory spreadsheets.
  • Proactively report mechanical or maintenance issues for company vehicles.
  • Ensure all company vehicles are clean, stocked, and organized to company standards.
Customer Experience & Professionalism
  • Interact regularly with customers in a polite, knowledgeable, and helpful manner.
  • Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance and act with integrity at all times.
Required Skills and Attributes 
  • Supervisory/lead experience required. Willingness to work outdoors year-round.
  • Thorough understanding of low-voltage systems
  • Occasional work on 120v electrical, including GFCIs and 3-way switches
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the electrical field or outdoor trade
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills
  • High-level time management and attention to detail
  • Lift 50+ lbs throughout the day
  • Able to carry, set up, and work on ladders, both extension and A-frame
  • Operating articulating boom lifts for specific installations
  • Thorough knowledge of Google Drive and use of mobile apps
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Compensation & Benefits
  • $25.00 - $28.00/hr depending on experience
  • Opportunities in Sales for commission bonus
  • 40-hour work week (Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shift, 7 am-5 pm)
  • Overtime work as necessary

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
