SUMMARY
An Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Lighting Technician will be responsible for leading the installation of low voltage outdoor lighting systems generally in residential and commercial settings. The idea candidate will have an Idaho Limited Voltage License and can oversee the installation of lights in commercial properties as well as residential ones.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Being the on-site leader for all lighting installations
  • Starting the project with client engagement and keeping the client informed of progress throughout the installation
  • Leading and directing the installation team to complete the project timely, completely, and with excellent quality
  • Training technicians on advanced installation methods
  • Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available
  • Identifying additional sales opportunities and proposing those to clients
  • Updating client management system with job information for future reference
  • Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations
  • Assist client with any software installation and train the client on how to use the software
  • Proper care and operation of company vehicles
  • Maintain condition of warehouse and inventory levels
  • Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs
  • Clean up of all areas affected by the installation
  • Providing direction and/or assistance to other installers when applicable
  • Ensuring all installations meet our company standards for quality
  • Inform Owner or Admin Assistant of inventory levels and when products need to be reordered to prevent out of stock scenarios
  • Other duties as assigned
 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
  • Must be comfortable working from ladders and rooftops
  • Has a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)
  • Makes a good first impression by being well-groomed, articulate, personable, and comfortable with meeting new people
  • Enjoys interacting with customers with respect and integrity
  • Above-average technical ability
  • Attention to detail and respect for our customer's property
  • Patience to teach clients how to use software needed for their systems
  • Systematic in their approach

  • Strong sense of pride and integrity in work product
 
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE 
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ideal candidate should have varied computer experience. 
  • Experience with boom lifts
  • Comfort with phone technology and apps 
  • Current Limited Voltage License in Idaho preferred but not necessary

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
